Shannon McLeod
Shannon McLeod is a designer/maker that lives and works in Guelph, Ontario. She was educated at the University of Guelph, her focus on studio art and art history. She then attended Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning where she was enrolled in a three year course of studies within the School of Crafts and Design concentrating on furniture design and making. As a recent graduate from the furniture program McLeod exhibited her work alongside her peers in The Sheridan Furniture Show at Fluid Living in the Distillery District, Toronto. Her work has also been seen at Toronto’s IIDEX and the Interior Design Show where it was displayed as part of a Gold Medal winning Sheridan Crafts and Design booth. She was awarded the Mary and William Corcoran Fund Award for Excellence in Craft as well as the Sheridan Silver Medal for Academic Excellence.
